What to expect from

Yoga Breakfast Barry

Tempted by the thought of starting your Sunday with some movement, mindfulness & good food, but not sure what to expect?

Here’s a little taster of our yoga breakfast…

  • As with all Noue Yoga classes & events, it will begin with a warm welcome from me & your fellow breakfast yogis! Here I can get to know you all (and take your drink & croissant orders for later, yum!)

  • Once we have said our hellos & are settled on our mats, we will begin an hour long morning yoga flow (with many variations offered so it is suitable for complete beginners & experienced yogis alike). This class will be a beautiful balance of physical yoga, breathwork and meditative rest, the perfect combination to wake you up on a Sunday morning!

  • Then after building our appetites throughout our class, it will be time for a delicious Academy breakfast to refuel after our morning movement. Your ticket price includes a hot drink of your choice, a glass of breakfast juice & a croissant granola bowl, all from the wonderful Academy 297. Tasty! This also gives us a lovely chance to relax, catch up, meet new people and build community

  • The Yoga Breakfast will also incorporate other mindfulness practices which will be different each month to give you a variety of ways to focus and relax your mind. These will include guided meditation, learning how to calm your nervous system and more

  • As with other Noue Yoga classes, everything will be explained. You do not need to have prior yoga knowledge, know the names of the poses, and you certainly don’t need to be flexible to join us! It’s all about being part of a group, playing with movement, having fun & experiencing the joy of yoga together

What do I need

to know before

Yoga Breakfast Barry?

All you need to join Yoga Breakfast Barry:

to complete your student form

before the yoga breakfast Barry event, you will need to fill out your Student Form which will be emailed to you. This helps me to understand if you have any injuries or dietary requirements that I need to be aware of. You will not be granted access to the Yoga Breakfast unless this form has been completed and returned to me. I know paperwork isn’t so fun or relaxing but your health is always a top priority.

Please note: None of these classes are suitable for Pregnancy or in the 6 months following giving birth.

yoga mat (if you have one)

If you have your own yoga mat, please bring it with you, but if not, we will have mats waiting at the venue for you to use. No need to bring any additional props, we will supply blocks and straps if you would like to use them during the class

Any comfy clothes

You do not have to be wearing Instagrammable skin-tight leggings and sports bras. I personally like to do my own yoga practice in comfy joggers and a t-shirt. It just needs to be something that is comfortable and doesn’t restrict your movements. You may also want to bring a warm jumper as sometimes the relaxation section at the end of the practice can make you feel a little chilly.

water

You may want to bring along a water bottle to sip your drink throughout the class. There will of course be water there, but we will be keeping glasses away from the area we are practicing to avoid spillages! So bring along a bottle if you like to sip on water during the class.
